Order Processing, Payment and Fulfillment

US Block Supply (USBS) believes that service and product support are our best attributes and will do everything we can to make sure that you are happy with your purchase. With that in mind, we check every order prior to processing it. If there are any irregularities or potential savings in shipping or product or order configuration, we will contact you to discuss them prior to processing the order. If there are no changes, we will process the order as is and notify you via email. The following is a step-by-step of how the ordering process works:

Step 1- Find the item(s) you would like to purchase and add them to your USBS website shopping cart. Be sure to order extra product (of each product type) to cover, for example, odd or cut-block situations. As part of each order, USBS handles all delivery expense under most circumstances.

Step 2– Create a USBS account and enter your name, address, telephone, email address, etc. Of note, having a USBSonline account allows our customer to login and receive real-time update as to order progress.

Step 3- Choose your payment method. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover and PayPaland ACH banking transfers. Some transactions will be delayed due to the amount of money involved either on USBS’s end or yours. Several other payment methods are offered below:
Optionally, USBS offers 75% down and the remaining balance of 25% is paid when the shipment is at or near our Austin, Texas facilities and can be photographed or otherwise documented. Once the final payment is received, the full order is released to its final destination.

Step 4- Once the order is placed we will check that everything is correct. USBS wants to make sure that we are exceeding expectations andeliminating potential issues. We check lead times, verify packaging, identify any delivery challenges, check for potential cost savings in shipping, etc. If there are any issues or savings are available, USBS will let you know by email or phone prior to processing.

Step 5- Once the order is ready to go, we will process the payment and the order will be fully placed.

Step 6- Our Fulfillment Team will start to prep the items for whichever the chosen delivery method is.

Standard Large Shipments: USBS or our assigns will package and inspect each order and make sure that each order is in perfect condition and all is as ordered. Once the item is delivery scheduled, USBS will provide shipping tracking information. Extra-large o multi-truck shipments may require multiple shipments. Deliveries to distant locations may require deliveries over time. Please plan accordingly. If needed, USBS can schedule specific product deliveries to match your just-in-time construction schedule.

Optional 3rd-Party Shipping of Large Shipments. 3rd-party shippers like UShip.com are available for product delivery. There are positives and negative to using services like UShip. If 3rd-party shipping is wanted, at checkout, simply select, “Ship via 3rd-Party Shipping”. Please note that product offloading and re-loading needs to be coordinated and may incur an additional expense. Independently, let USBS what your delivery plans are so everyone is interlocked.

StandardFEDEXGround Shipping: For a few products such as tooling or low quantity purchases, USBS will inspect the packaging and verify condition. Most often, we will either drop it off at a nearby FEDEX shipping hub or schedule a pick-up. Either way we will provide a tracking number via email at the time of shipping.

Local Pick-up: If the order delivery is nearAustin, Texas or nearone of our delivery warehouses, if appropriate, USBS willdiscuss available shipping options and confirm them with you. Please be aware that our pick-up and delivery facilities are not traditional stores – these are warehouses or even loaded, flat-bed tractor-trailer trucks. Where every we can we coordinate our services with others to speed delivery and reduce shipping costs. If load aggregation or single-load sharing is available for your order, we’ll let you know the advantages and disadvantages.

Step 7- Once you receive your items, please inspect them thoroughly at the time of delivery. Damages must be reported immediately. For more about shipping and returns, please read our shipping & returns policy.

Step 8– Begin to build with or work with your purchased USBS products.

Step 9– Finally, let us know how we did. We love to hear about the wonderful experiences and photos of completed projects. However, we also realize that hurdles or problems (such as shipping delays) can happen along the way. Either way, please let us know how we did and how we can improve (feedback link).
